Reduced Logistic Costs

With a little bit of digging Alpine clawed back $15k in additional trucking charges for our client.

As trucking charges seemed to adding up in Q2 of 2020 we decided to take a deep dive into our clients trucking costs to see what could be captured in cost savings. With solid historical costs for loading, hauling and unloading we knew that something wasn't adding up.

Although the task required obtaining more detailed Bill of Ladings from trucking companies, what we discovered gave us an easy case to approach our client's supplier and receive a full credit for time that the trucks were held up, or turned to away, to load materials.

Communication to all parties was constructive, fair and backed with solid data. This remains an area we continue to monitor on behalf of our clients.
